The Swiss theologian Hans Urs von Balthasar (1905–1988) is considered one of the most prominent and helpful theologians of the 20th century due to his proverbial erudition, capacity for work, and untiring effort to re-impart to Christian proclamation of the Gospel its brilliance, joy, and confidence.
